Barcelona is an amazing travel destination, a city that has everything, from architecture, beaches, great landscapes, parks, and amazing culture and food.  These are the 10 things to do when you visit Barcelona.

1. Visiting the Sagrada Familia



The Sagrada Familia is Barcelona's most well-known and distinctive tourist attraction. It is also the most prominent example of Gaud's modernist architecture.

The Sagrada Familia can be visited every day, and prices vary from 23 Euros to 36 Euros depending on the type of visit.

2. Enjoying Park Güell. 



Park Güell is a vast park with peculiar architectural elements made by the unique architect Antonio Gaudí.

With an extension of more than 17 hectares, Park Güell is covered by undulating shapes, columns that look like trees, animal figures, and geometric shapes. Most of the surfaces are decorated with mosaics made from coloured ceramic chips.

It is located in the centre of the city, between Plaza de Catalunya and the coast of Barcelona.

Las Ramblas is composed of several parts, which have: 

Rambla de Canaletes: Located in the highest part of the Ramblas, next to the Plaza de Catalunya, the Rambla de Canaletes is a bustling and lively area.

Rambla de Los Estudios: Named like this thanks to the old location of the General Study or University, it is also known as the Rambla de Los Pájaros because the old Mercado de Los Pájaros was located nearby.

Rambla de las Flores: The most colourful and perfumed part of Las Ramblas is full of flower stalls and plants capable of lighting up the darkest of days. In this area is the mythical Mercado de la Boquería.

Rambla de Los Capuchinos: Also known as the Rambla del Centro, it has numerous places of interest in its vicinities, such as the Gran Teatro Liceo, the Palacio Güell, or the nearby Plaza Real.

Rambla de Santa Mònica: Functioning as the lobby of the port, the Rambla de Santa Mònica is a lively area full of bars and restaurants. At the end of the avenue, just before reaching the sea is the Mirador de Colón.

9. Go to the Boqueria Market



St.Josep Market, better known as "La Boquería", is the most famous market in Barcelona and one of its main tourist attractions.

It is a central municipal market located on Las Ramblas in Barcelona. It is the ideal place to buy fresh products.

It is a labyrinth of more than 2,500 square meters along which there are more than 300 stalls that offer all kinds of typical products of Barcelona gastronomy.

Some of the stalls offer delicious menus prepared with the freshest produce.

10. Visit the works of Gaudi



In addition to the Sagrada Familia and Park Guell, Gaudi has very important works that must be visited such as Casa Mila, Casa Batllo, and Palacio Guell.


Casa Mila/La Pedrera

Known as La Pedrera due to its rustic stone appearance, Casa Milá is an amazing modernist building created by Gaudí between 1906 and 1912.

The peculiar building, located in the central Paseo de Gracia, is an amazing building that has the ability to amaze its visitors, especially thanks to its roof terrace.
