The Football World Cup is very near, a lot of teams are already qualified and Brazil has made a big investment in infrastructure for the World cup. One of the benefits that countries that hold the World Cup are that they can show more of their cities and places around the country.

Brasilia, Brazil´s capital

When I was young I heard about Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, what amazed me was that Brasilia is one of the capital cities of more recent construction in the world, the construction of the city began in 1956, being Lucio Costa the principal urban planner and Oscar Niemeyer the principal architect. It is a city that was completely planned. Located in the central part of the country, it is about 950 km Northwest of Rio de Janeiro.
