My Stay at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo

I made time to update some pending reviews. In this case the review of my stay at the Ritz Carlton Tokyo, a well-located hotel in the Roppongi district very near to Roppongi Crossing and Roppongi Hills. It is also at a walkable distance from Tokyo Tower.

During my stay in Tokyo, I had to stay in three different hotels, mostly because I traveled for work but stayed some extra days to know the city, so part of the hotels was paid for by me, and the company I work for paid my stay at the Ritz Carlton.

I arrived at the Ritz Carlton after staying a night at the APA Hotel Pride Kokkaigijidomae, so the difference was enormous. I arrived using the Tokyo Metro, got down at the Nogizaka Sta. of the Chiyoda Line, but there is a closer station, the Roppongi Station of the Toei Oedo Line.

The Ritz Carlton is a luxury hotel located in the Tokyo Midtown Tower Building. One of the things that caught my attention as soon as I got into the building is that the lobby is on the 45th floor.

At this level, you don´t only have the lobby, but also a bar/lounge, and the restaurant, it is very big, so it was full of people.

As I mentioned before, the hotel is located in the Tokyo Midtown Tower Building, so part of the building is private with offices, and from the 45th floor up are the hotel rooms.

After doing my check-in, I went to my room on the 50th floor, as soon as I got in I was fascinated, the room was enormous, but what amazed me more was the view I had from the window. A very big window that made the room very luminous.

The bed was fabulous, very comfortable. The room had a desk, ideal if you needed to work, a small part with a coffee table and two couches, and a small minibar in the front of the room.

The bathroom was huge!! It had a shower and a tub, you have a Tv inside in the bathroom.

I had breakfast included in my stay, to have breakfast you need to go to the lobby floor, just beside the reception you have a door that takes you to the part you have breakfast, the breakfast was great, you have many options. But one thing that stands out is the view, having breakfast with the view of Tokyo from the 45th floor is great.

Conclusion

  • The Ritz Carlton Tokyo Hotel is an expensive hotel, but the experience is worth it.
  • Very well located, near Roppongi, next to metro stations, the neighborhood is very walkable.
  • The Hotel Staff was great, very polite, and helpful.
  • Everything about this hotel is about the views.
