My stay at the APA Hotel Pride Kokkaigijidomae

The APA Hotel Pride Kokkaigijidomae is located in a very calm area of Tokyo, in Chiyoda City near the Asakusa district. It is a very new hotel.

Lobby
The first impression when you walk in is that it seems like a very nice hotel, to do the check-in you need to use one of the machines that this hotel has for this purpose.

You need to enter all your booking information, and your credit card number, and the machine gives you your room number and key.

You have people from the staff to help you if you need attention, but the process is fast and easy.

It was my first trip to Japan and needed to stay one night at the APA Hotel Pride. But it was a great experience.

The hotel facilities are all new. The rooms are small but comfortable for a short stay.

The room

The room that I stayed in was very small. But as this one is a very new hotel, everything was in perfect condition. You have everything you need for a comfortable stay. A comfortable bed, a desk if you need to work, and the bathrooms are ok.

The Area

The area is very calm, not so crowded as other areas of Tokyo. It is located in a part of Chiyoda City district, only one block where Asakusa District begins, so if you want to look for restaurants and bars to eat and have a good time, you can find several walking just a few blocks from the APA Hotel Pride.

It is not a popular area for shopping, as you don´t have many shops near the APA Hotel Pride.

Tokyo is full of temples, and just behind the APA Hotel Pride, you can find the Hie Shrine. A very nice Temple, very calm and full of peace.

Transport

The APA Hotel Pride Kokkaigijidomae does not have a shuttle service to go to and from the airport.

Finding Transport is not a big problem in Tokyo. Just one block from the APA Hotel Pride is a Metro station, the Tameike-sannō Station. From this station, you can take the Ginza Line and the Namboku line. So from here, you can go to any other part of Tokyo without problems.

If you want to know more about Tokyo Transport System, read my review here.

Staff

Japanese people are very polite, and this is noticed in every place you visit. The only main issue is that many of the people in the Hotel Staff do not speak English well, and sometimes it is not easy to make you understand. But since they are so helpful, they go out of their way to help and make an effort to understand you.

In general, it is a Hotel I would stay in again. Very clean, well located and with good facilities.
